The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records May 23, 2022 SPR22/1098 Allison Mondello Primary RAO Massachusetts State Police 470 Worcester Road Framingham, MA 01702 Dear Ms. Mondello: I have received the petition of Sean Sheridan appealing the nonresponse of the Department of State Police (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On April 12, 2022, Mr. Sheridan requested “… the name rank and contact information for a person driving a k9 unit … who responded to a car crash scene and appears to have been first on scene on [identified date] … at approximately 9:00pm near the merge point of 495 N onramp onto 24N in Bridgewater, MA.” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Sheridan petitioned this office, and this appeal, SPR22/1098, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided Mr. Sheridan with a response dated May 13, 2022. In light of the Department’s May 13th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Sheridan may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, ,, .· . ', , _-___ ' - ~ Rebecca S.
