The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records May 26, 2022 SPR22/1125 Susan Galvin Town Clerk Town of Milton 525 Canton Avenue Milton, MA 02186 Dear Ms. Galvin: I have received the petition of a Requestor appealing the response of the Town of Milton (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On February 10, 2022, the Requestor sought the final preliminary salary sheets for the police department, the fire department, and the department of public works from 2005 to 2020. On March 25, 2022 the Town responded. Unsatisfied with this response, the Requestor petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/1125, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Town intends to provide a supplemental response to the Requestor. Accordingly, the Town is ordered to provide the Requestor with said response to the request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations within ten (10) business days. A copy of any such response(s) must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response(s) to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. The Requestor may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response(s) within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
