Murray Supervisor of Records June 3, 2022 SPR22/1189 Gretchen Grosky Essex County Sheriff’s Office 20 Manning Avenue Middleton, MA 01949 Dear Ms. Grosky: I have received the petition of Karina Wilkinson appealing the nonresponse of the Essex County Sheriff’s Office (Office) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Wilkinson requested the rates charged by the inmate calling service. Subsequently, I learned that the Office intends to provide Ms. Wilkinson with a response. The Office is ordered to provide said response in compliance with the Public Records Law and its Regulations within 10 business days. Ms. Wilkinson may appeal the substantive nature of the response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
