Records Access Officer Office of the Attorney General One Ashburton Place, 20th Floor Boston, MA 02108 Dear Attorney Tarrow: I have received the petition of Colman Herman appealing the response of the Office of the Attorney General (AGO) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On April 26, 2022, Mr. Herman requested, “… any and all documents, communications, and/or the like related to cashless payments for the period January 1, 2022 to the present.” The AGO responded on May 16, 2022. Unsatisfied with the response, Mr. Herman petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/1257, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the AGO provided a further response on May 31, 2022. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the AGO’s May 16th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Herman may appeal the substantive nature of the AGO’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
