Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority 10 Park Plaza, Suite 7760 Boston, MA 02116 Dear Attorney Ciollo: I have received the petition of Ari Ofsevit appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (Authority) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Ofsevit requested any emails between Authority staff and emails ending in an identified link. Having received no response, Mr. Ofsevit petitioned this office. Subsequently, the Authority notified this office that Mr. Ofsevit supplied the Authority with a date range. The Authority is searching for responsive records and will provide Mr. Ofsevit with an additional response once the search has concluded. The Authority is ordered to provide said response in compliance with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations within 10 business days. Mr. Ofsevit may appeal the substantive nature of the Authority’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
