See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On May 25, 2022, Mr. Fitzgerald requested “…all text, emails, and messages sent or received by Everett School Committee member [named individual]….[t]his request is limited to May 16, 2022…” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Fitzgerald petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/1360, was opened as a result. Despite being notified of the opening of this appeal, is unclear whether the District has provided a response. Accordingly, the District is ordered to provide Mr. Fitzgerald with a response to his request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Access Regulations within ten (10) business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. Mr. Fitzgerald may appeal the substantive nature of the District’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
