Murray Supervisor of Records June 16, 2022 SPR22/1361 Dr. Joel Boyd City of Lowell Public Schools 155 Merrimack Street Lowell, MA 01852 Dear Dr. Boyd: I have received the petition of Zack Grenier appealing the nonresponse of Lowell Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On May 17, 2022, Mr. Grenier requested, “[a]ll site-specific safety manuals and plans prepared by: 1. Suffolk Construction, the General Contractor and/or 2. Any/All subcontractors who are participating in the Lowell High School construction project that is active and ongoing.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Grenier petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/1361, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the School provided Mr. Grenier with a response dated June 15, 2022. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the School’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Grenier may appeal the substantive nature of the School’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
