Muir Superintendent of Schools Quabbin Regional School District 872 South Street Barre, MA 01005 Dear Dr. Muir: I have received the petition of Ben Tobin appealing the nonresponse of the Quabbin Regional School District (District) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On May 28, 2022, Mr. Tobin requested the “…district’s policies and procedures for special education stemming from the SEPPS (special education program plan statement).” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Tobin petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/1420, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the District provided a response on June 21, 2022 to Mr. Tobin. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the District’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Tobin may appeal the substantive nature of the District’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
