Beckta appealing the nonresponse of the City of Everett (City) requests for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). In two (2) separate requests, Ms. Beckta requested the following records on March 15, 2022: [1] [t]he maintenance records for the elevator at City Hall for the outage in March 2022[;] [2] [t]he records for maintenance, repair, service, inspections for the elevator at City Hall for FY2015-FY2021[.] Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Ms. Beckta petitioned this office and the following appeals, SPR22/1487 and SPR22/1489, were opened as a result. Current Appeal In her appeal petition, Ms. Beckta notified a representative of the City on April 19, 2022 and a separate representative on June 10, 2022 concerning the March 15th requests. Order Despite being notified of the opening of these appeals, it remains unclear whether the City has provided a response. As such, the City is ordered to provide Ms. Beckta with a response to her requests, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Access Regulations within ten (10) business days.
