The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records July 7, 2022 SPR22/1550 Karen M. Crebase Superintendent of Schools Hopedale Public Schools 25 Adin Street Hopedale, MA 01747 Dear Superintendent Crebase: I have received the petition of Mary Kate McGowan appealing the nonresponse of the Hopedale Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On June 19, 2022, Ms. McGowan requested “…Hopedale’s policies and procedures for special education including those stemming from the SEPPS (special education program plan statement).” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. McGowan petitioned this office, and this appeal, SPR22/1550, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the School provided Ms. McGowan with a response dated July 7, 2022. In light of the School’s July 7th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. McGowan may appeal the substantive nature of the School’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
