Neville Sheriff Dukes County Sheriff’s Office 149 Main Street Edgartown, MA 02539 Dear Sheriff Neville: I have received the petition of Rich Saltzberg appealing the nonresponse of the Dukes County Sheriff’s Office (Office) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On June 17, 2022, Mr. Saltzberg requested “… any and all invoices from [named person] … generated or received between Jan. 21, 2022 and June 17, 2022.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Saltzberg petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/1565, was opened as a result. In a July 7, 2022 email, Mr. Saltzberg stated that he wished to withdraw the appeal. In light of Mr. Saltzberg’s July 7th communication, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
