Koes, Esq. appealing the response of the Department of State Police (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 10, 2022, Attorney Koes requested, “…any reports prepared by the State Police relating to the May 10, 2021 incident at MASAC…copies of any surveillance video footage relating to the incident.” On June 15, 2022, the Department responded. Unsatisfied with the response, Attorney Koes appealed and SPR22/1576 was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department responded to Attorney Koes request with a further response sent on July 14, 2022. Whereas the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s June 15th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
