The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records July 25, 2022 SPR22/1581 Daniel M. DeBlander, Esq. Assistant District Attorney Middlesex District Attorney’s Office 15 Commonwealth Avenue Woburn, MA 01801 Dear Attorney DeBlander: I have received the petition of Adam Bradley appealing the nonresponse of the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office (Office) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On June 9, 2022, Mr. Bradley requested ten (10) categories of records in relation to an [identified incident]. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Bradley petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/1581, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Office provided a response on July 5, 2022 to Mr. Bradley’s request. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Office’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Bradley may appeal the substantive nature of the Office’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Adam Bradley One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
