Jackson Records Access Officer City of Attleboro 77 Park Street Attleboro, MA 02703 Dear Ms. Jackson: I have received the petition of Andrew Kerr appealing the nonresponse of the City of Attleboro (City) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On June 28, 2022, Mr. Kerr requested “…any and all information on the City’s municipal council meeting pertaining to the official records for the meeting on June 21, 2022 in its entirety.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Kerr petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/1629, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the City intends on providing a written response to Mr. Kerr. Accordingly, the City is ordered to provide Mr. Kerr with a response in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Regulations and this order within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Kerr may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
