The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records July 20, 2022 SPR22/1660 Antonio DeFrias Records Access Officer Hanson Planning Board Town of Hanson 542 Liberty Street Hanson, MA 02341 Dear Mr. DeFrias: I have received the petition of Alan J. Dias appealing the nonresponse of the Hanson Planning Board (Board) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On June 17, 2022, Mr. Dias requested, “… documents presented to the Hanson Planning Board on various dates relative to an Adequate Access petition.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Dias petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/1660, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Board provided Mr. Dias with a response dated July 20, 2022. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Board’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Dias may appeal the substantive nature of the Board’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Alan J.
