The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records August 5, 2022 SPR22/1723 Michele Bissonnette Town Clerk Town of Wareham 54 Marion Rd Wareham, MA 02571 Dear Ms. Bissonnette: I have received the petition of Brenda Eckstrom appealing the response of the Town of Wareham (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On June 2, 2022, Ms. Eckstrom requested all meeting minutes, agendas, and contact information for a named committee in the Town. On June 2, 2022, and June 21, 2022, the Town responded. Unsatisfied with the Town’s responses, Ms. Eckstrom petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/1723, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Town responded to Ms. Eckstrom’s request with a further response sent on July 28, 2022. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s June 2nd and June 21st responses, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Eckstrom may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s July 28th response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Brenda Eckstrom One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
