The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records August 4, 2022 SPR22/1727 Kayce D. Warren Town Administrator Town of Deerfield 8 Conway Street South Deerfield, MA 01373 Dear Ms. Warren: I have received the petition of Bruce St. Peters appealing the response of the Town of Deerfield (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On June 6, 2022, Mr. St. Peters requested “a copy of an ‘inspection schedule for the town inspector’ as noted under ‘New Business’ that was presented to the Planning Board by Sugerloaf Condos at the Planning Board meeting of June 5, 2017.” On June 28, 2022, the Town responded. Unsatisfied with the Town’s response, Mr. St. Peters petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/1727, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Town responded to Mr. St. Peters’ request with a further response sent on August 4, 2022. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s June 28, 2022 response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. St. Peters may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Bruce St. Peters One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
