G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On May 13, 2022, Ms. Dharmaraj requested the following records: [1] the name of the Quincy Police officer who came to [an identified address] … [2] the audio-and-video recording from body cameras and squad car cameras and street cameras of this officer’s conversation with the family member … and [3] the transcript of this conversation … [and] [4] Bond number, type, date of issuance, dollar amount and contact information … of company which has bonded the [named] …police officers … and all relevant Liability Insurance Company … related to [the] Department … Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Dharmaraj petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/1829, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department intends on providing a written response to Ms. Dharmaraj. Accordingly, the Department is ordered to provide Ms. Dharmaraj with said response in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Regulations and this order within ten business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Ms. Dharmaraj may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
