The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records August 26, 2022 SPR22/1914 Sergio Cornelio Records Access Officer City of Everett Office of the City Clerk 484 Broadway Everett, MA 02149 Dear Mr. Cornelio: I have received the petition of Steven Fitzgerald appealing the non-response of the City of Everett (City) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On August 17, 2022, Mr. Fitzgerald requested numerous records regarding an alcohol license for a named property. As a result of the City’s lack of response, Mr. Fitzgerald petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/1914, was opened as a result. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, the City provided a response on August 25, 2022. In light of this response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. If issues remain unresolved, Mr. Fitzgerald may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s August 25th response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Steven Fitzgerald One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
