Gioscia City Clerk Town of Agawam 36 Main Street Agawam, MA 01001 Dear Mr. Gioscia: I have received the petition of Ms. Celine Zhu appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Agawam (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On August 9, 2022, Ms. Zhu requested “records relating to . . . Springfield Street, Feeding Hills MA, 01030.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Ms. Zhu petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/1953, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Town provided Ms. Zhu with a response dated August 24, 2022. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s lack of a written response, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Zhu may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
