See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On July 8, 2022, Mr. Matthews requested, “… all records pertaining to the investigation of the fire at [identified address] that took place on May 15th.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Matthews petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/1959, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the City provided Mr. Matthews with a response dated September 7, 2022. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the City’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Matthews may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
