Deree Town Clerk Town of Weymouth 75 Middle Street Weymouth, MA 02189 Dear Ms. Deree: I have received the petition of Gerard Mackin appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Weymouth (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On August 25, 2022, Mr. Mackin requested numerous records regarding “BSN Sports Invoice # 901357754 dated 1-4 -2018.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Mackin petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/2123, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Town provided a response to Mr. Mackin on September 16, 2022. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Mackin has appealed the Town’s response which is in the process of being opened as a separate appeal.
