The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records September 26, 2022 SPR22/2131 William J. Doyle, Esq. Records Access Officer Massachusetts Department of Transportation 10 Park Plaza, Suite 4160 Boston, MA 02116 Dear Attorney Doyle: I have received the petition of Matthew Renna, Esq. appealing the nonresponse of the Department of Transportation (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On August 15, 2022, Attorney Renna requested “… certain documents related to MassDOT’s project known as ‘Corridor Improvements on Rt. 79 and Davol St. Fall River – Proposal No. 608049-11758.’” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Attorney Renna petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/2131, was opened as a result. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Attorney Renna may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Matthew Renna, Esq.
