Coleman Public Records Compliance Officer Town of Nantucket 16 Broad Street Nantucket, MA 02554 Dear Ms. Coleman: I have received the petitions of Meghan Perry appealing the nonresponses of the Town of Nantucket (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). In separate requests, Ms. Perry requested the following records from the Town: August 25, 2022 request “…all communication between the selectboard and representatives of SBPF…please add town administrators…from January 1, 2021 until this request is fulfilled.” August 29, 2022 request “…all correspondence between town administration and all representatives of SBPF/Baxter Road residents, including but not limited to [named individuals] and all selectboard members from January 1, 2022 until this request is fulfilled.” August 29, 2022 request “…all correspondence between the natural resource department, including but not limited to [named individuals] with all representatives of SBPF/Baxter Road residence…and all representatives of the Arcadis group from January 1, 2022 until this request is fulfilled.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Ms. Perry petitioned this office and the following appeals, SPR22/2175, SPR22/2176 and SPR22/2177, were opened as a result. Accordingly, the Town is ordered to provide Ms. Perry with a response in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Regulations and this order within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Ms. Perry may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety days.
