The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records October 12, 2022 SPR22/2210 Dr. Matthew Crowley Superintendent of Schools Woburn Public Schools 55 Locust Street Woburn, MA 01801 Dear Dr. Crowley: I have received the petition of Tammy Sweeney appealing the response of the Woburn Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On July 14, 2022, Ms. Sweeney requested from the City Solicitor’s Office, a copy of the following records: [1] The amount of teachers in [Woburn Public Schools] (School) that have been approved and given Sick Bank Leave days; [2] The genders of the teachers in the [School] that have been approved and given Sick Bank Leave days; [3] The reason(s) for which of the teachers in [the School] that been approved and given Sick Bank Leave days; [4] The total number of days in the [School] teachers’ [S]ick [B]ank account; and, [5] Any information and data related to [the School] teacher Sick Bank leave. The School provided a response on July 21, 2022. Unsatisfied with the School’s response, Ms. Sweeney petitioned the Supervisor of Records (Supervisor), and this appeal was opened. Subsequently, I learned that the School provided a further response to Ms. Sweeney’s request and on October 11, 2022. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the School’s July 21, 2022 response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Sweeney may appeal the substantive nature of the School’s October 11th response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
