City of Boston Director of Public Records Records Access Officer 1 City Hall Plaza Boston, MA 02201 Dear Mr. Williams, I have received the petitions of Margaret Young appealing the nonresponses of the City of Boston (City) to requests for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On September 15, 2022, Ms. Young requested various records related to renovation of the Irving School and records related to the Sumner Elementary School and Philbrick Elementary School. Claiming to not yet have received a response(s), Ms. Young petitioned this office and these appeals, SPR22/2269 and SPR22/2270, were opened as a result. Subsequently, a representative of the City provided a response on October 17, 2022 to Ms. Young’s requests. Where the basis of these appeals was opened as a result of the City’s lack of a written response, I will now consider these administrative appeals closed. Ms. Young may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
