The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records October 21, 2022 SPR22/2272 Paul J. Iversen Records Access Officer City of Framingham 150 Concord Street, Room B-37 Framingham, MA 01702 Dear Mr. Iversen: I have received the petition of Brian Petrini-Smith appealing the response of the City of Framingham (City) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On July 27, 2022, Mr. Petrini-Smith requested “all emails sent or received by [an identified individual] 11/1/2021-1/1/2022[.]” On August 10, 2022, the City responded. Unsatisfied with the City’s response, Mr. Petrini-Smith petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/2272, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the City provided a further response dated October 7, 2022. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the City’s August 10th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Petrini-Smith may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s October 7th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
