G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On September 30, 2022, Ms. Wehtje requested “. . . all forms and procedures to initiate a charter change via citizen’s petition to the City Council…” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Wehtje petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/2347, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the City provided Ms. Wehtje with a response dated November 1, 2022. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the City’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Wehtje may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
