The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records November 9, 2022 SPR22/2490 Philip A. Littlehale Business Manager Records Access Officer Newburyport Public Schools 70 Low Street Newburyport, MA 01950 Dear Mr. Littlehale: I have received your petition on behalf of the Newburyport Public Schools (School) seeking an extension of time to produce records, and relief from the obligation to produce responsive records. G. L. c. 66, § 10(c); G. L. c. 66, § 10(d)(iv). As required by law, the School furnished a copy of this petition to the requestor. G. L. c. 66, § 10(c). On August 22, 2022, Donna Sprague requested: All district records between Newburyport Public Schools employees, including Superintendent . . ., and consultant . . . and Culture7 Coaching/Consulting between the dates of January 1, 2021 through January 31, 2021; this includes but is not limited to any and all professional training held via Google Meet and/or via Zoom, handouts, transcripts, videos, agendas, minutes, slides, presentations and any other training materials used during this time frame. The School submitted the present petition on November 2, 2022. Subsequently, in a letter to this office and Ms. Sprague on November 4, 2022, the School indicates that it has received a revised request, states that it “is providing all records responsive to the revised request in separate correspondence,” and states that the School “hereby withdraws its time petition in SPR22/2490.” In light of the School’s November 4th letter, I find it unnecessary to opine on the School’s November 2nd petition.
