The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records November 17, 2022 SPR22/2510 Kim Gouveia Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office 15 Commonwealth Avenue Woburn, MA 01801 Dear Ms. Gouveia, I have received the petition of Cindy King appealing the nonresponse of the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office (Office) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On September 30, 2022, Ms. King requested various information concerning a particular Lieutenant. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. King petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/2510, was opened as a result. Subsequently, a representative of the Office provided a response to Ms. King’s request on November 15, 2022. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Office’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. King may appeal the substantive nature of the Office’s November 15th response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Cindy King One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
