The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records November 21, 2022 SPR22/2537 Daniel DeMaina Commonwealth Corporation 2 Oliver Street, 5th floor Boston, MA 02109 Dear Mr. DeMaina, I have received the petition of Colman Herman appealing the nonresponse of the Commonwealth Corporation (Corporation) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 23, 2022, Mr. Herman requested various expense reports and automobile records. Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Herman petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/2537, was opened as a result. Subsequently, a representative of the Corporation provided a response on November 15, 2022 to Mr. Herman’s request. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Corporation’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Herman may appeal the substantive nature of the Corporation’s November 15th response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Colman Herman One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
