Gmeiner Town Clerk Town of South Hadley 116 Main Street, Room 108 South Hadley, MA 01075 Dear Ms. Gmeiner: I have received the petition of Elizabeth Chong appealing the response of the Town of South Hadley (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On September 28, 2022, Ms. Chong requested “email correspondence from [three identified individuals] regarding [an identified individual] from 9/01/2022 to 9/28/2022.” Previous Appeal This request was the subject of a previous appeal. See SPR22/2326 Determination of the Supervisor of Records (October 27, 2022). In my October 27th determination, I ordered the Town to provide Ms. Chong with a response to her request. On November 10, 2022, the Town responded. Unsatisfied with the Town’s response, Ms. Chong petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/2638, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Town provided a further response dated November 23, 2022 to Ms. Chong. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s November 10th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Chong may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s November 23rd response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
