The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records December 1, 2022 SPR22/2660 Philip Crohan Public Access Officer Massachusetts Convention Center Authority 415 Summer Street Boston, MA 02210 Dear Mr. Crohan: I have received the petition of Frank Miller appealing the nonresponse of the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (Authority) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 25, 2022, Mr. Miller requested the following records: [1] Time sheet for [a named individual] for October 2022 to date[;] [2] Copies of all information requests and responses regarding or mentioning [a named individual] from 2021 through present[;] [3] Any e-mail, text, digital, and written correspondence regarding [a named individual’s] approval to work remotely while traveling[;] [4] [A named individual] residential address as received by the Authority[.] Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Miller petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/2660, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Authority intends on providing a written response to Mr. Miller. Accordingly, the Authority is ordered to provide Mr. Miller with a response in accordance with the Public Records Law, its Regulations and this order within ten business days. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Miller may appeal the substantive nature of the Authority’s response within ninety days.
