Floyd appealing the nonresponse of the Fall River Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On August 21, 2022, Mr. Floyd requested the following records: [1] Any and all police reports generated by [a named officer] including…trial and hearing testimony in the...June 23-24, 2004 arrest and investigation of [two named individuals]. [2] Any and all reports generated by [a named officer] from the November 19. 2004 incident involving [a named individual] and the use of force report written by [the officer] in that matter. [3] Any and all reports or interviews conducted by or generated by the Bristol CAC and [a named officer] in the matter of [a named individual] from February 16, 2015. [4] Any and all investigations into [several named officers] by the Office of Professional standards and any criminal charges, reports, and or transcripts in regards to the above request. [5] The names and Docket numbers of any and all cases that have been reviewed or requested for review in which [two named individuals] worked with [four other named individuals]. [6] The police report regarding the accident in which an officer struck a motor vehicle and harmed citizens after leaving St. James Pub. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Floyd petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/2697, was opened as a result. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
