G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On November 2, 2022, Mr. Quemere requested numerous records related to a named officer regarding an identified 2020 incident. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Quemere petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/2700, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided Mr. Quemere with a response dated November 22, 2022. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Quemere notified this office today that he is appealing the November 22, 2022 response. A new appeal is in the process of being opened.
