Assistant District Attorney Records Access Officer Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office 45 Shawmut Road Canton, MA 02021 Dear Attorney Monahan: I have received the petition of David G. Magraw appealing the nonresponse of the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office (Office) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 4, 2022, Mr. Magraw requested the following records: [1] … a copy of the report of the interview of [a named person], which was conducted by the Walpole police … July 24, 1990 [2] … a copy of the November 14, 1994 report of the interview of [a named person] which was conducted by Walpole Police … [3] … a copy of the November 16, 1994 report of the interview of [a named person] which was conducted by Walpole Police … [4] …a copy of the report of the interview of [named persons] which was conducted by Walpole police Detective … between November: 1990 to January 1991 [5] …a copy of the December 14, 1994 report of the interview of [a named person] which was conducted by Walpole Police …[.] Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Mr. Magraw petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/2739, was opened as a result. Despite being notified of the opening of this appeal, it remains unclear whether the Office has provided a response. Accordingly, the Office is ordered to provide Mr. Magraw with a response to the request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations within ten (10) business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office.
