The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records December 9, 2022 SPR22/2745 Michael S. Nelson Superintendent of Schools Records Access Officer Old Rochester Regional School District 135 Marion Road Mattapoisett, MA 02739 Dear Superintendent Nelson: I have received the petition of Mira Belenkiy appealing the response of the Old Rochester Regional School District (School) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On November 12, 2022, Ms. Belenkiy requested various categories of records “about the district policy on PPRA.” The School responded on November 30, 2022, providing responsive records and a link to a website with additional records. Unsatisfied with the School’s response, Ms. Belenkiy appealed, and this case was opened as a result. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, I learned that the School provided supplemental responses by email to Ms. Belenkiy and this office on December 2, and December 7, 2022. As this appeal was opened based on the School’s November 30th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. If unresolved issues remain, Ms. Belenkiy may further appeal the substantive nature of the School’s supplemental responses within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Mira Belenkiy One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832 • Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
