The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records December 15, 2022 SPR22/2762 Mark J. Pellegrino, Ed.D. Superintendent Gardner Public Schools 70 Waterford Street Gardner, MA 01440 Dear Superintendent Pellegrino: I have received the petition of Paul DeMeo appealing the nonresponse of the Gardner Public Schools (School) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On November 12, 2022, Mr. DeMeo requested, “… salaries of all administration within the Gardner Public School System for the past four years.” Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. DeMeo petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/2762, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the School provided a response to Mr. DeMeo on December 1, 2022. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the School’s lack of a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. DeMeo may appeal the substantive nature of the School’s response within 90 days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Paul DeMeo One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
