The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records December 22, 2022 SPR22/2853, SPR22/2854, SPR22/2855 Ms. Emily Pina Records Access Officer Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office 12 Littleville Road Huntington, MA 01050 Dear Ms. Pina: I have received the petitions of Attorney Kathryn K. Ohren appealing the nonresponse of the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office (Office) to requests for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On December 6, 2022, Attorney Ohren requested the murder case files of “Commonwealth v. Daniel Harris”, “Commonwealth v. Timothy Hearns”, and “Commonwealth v. Keron Pierre”. Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Attorney Ohren petitioned this office and these appeals, SPR22/2853, SPR22/2854, and SPR22/2855 were opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Office provided Attorney Ohren with a response dated December 14, 2022. Where the appeals were opened as a result of the Office’s lack of a written response, I will consider these administrative appeals closed. Attorney Ohren may appeal the substantive nature of the Office’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Attorney Kathryn K.
