The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records December 19, 2022 SPR22/2869 Cheryl L. Kirkpatrick, Ed.D. Assistant Superintendent of Schools Mendon-Upton Regional School District 150 North Avenue Mendon, MA 01756 Dear Dr. Kirkpatrick: I have received the petition of Dr. Alison Freeman appealing the response of the Mendon-Upton Regional School District (School) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On August 29, 2022, Dr. Freeman requested “[a]ll records pertaining to [identified individuals], from July 30, 2022 through today, August 29, 2022.” On October 13, 2022, November 3, 2022, and November 10, 2022, the School responded. Unsatisfied with the School’s responses, Dr. Freeman petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/2869, was opened as a result. In an email dated December 16, 2022, Dr. Freeman stated, “[the School] did send it, so you can disregard this complaint.” Accordingly, per Dr. Freeman’s request to withdraw her appeal, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Dr. Alison Freeman One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
