The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records December 22, 2022 SPR22/2871 Jennifer Voyik Acting Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Business Operations South Hadley School Department 116 Main Street South Hadley, MA 01075 Dear Ms. Voyik: I have received the petition of Bruce Forcier appealing the response of the South Hadley School Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On November 29, 2022, Mr. Forcier requested, “…any communications (oral, telephonic, digital) dealing with the appointment of [a named individual] to the South Hadley Finance Committee.” The Department responded on December 5, 2022. Unsatisfied with the Department’s response, Mr. Forcier petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/2871, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided a further response on December 15, 2022. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s December 5th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Forcier may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Bruce C.
