LeLacheur Beverly Police Department 191 Cabot Street Beverly, MA 01915 Dear Chief LeLacheur: I have received the petition of Andrew Quemere appealing the response of the Beverly Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On December 1, 2022, Mr. Quemere requested, “… scan of the litigation index you mentioned?” The Department responded on December 15, 2022. Unsatisfied with the Department’s response, Mr. Quemere petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/2879, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided a further response on December 28, 2022. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s December 15th response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Quemere may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s December 28th response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
