The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records January 3, 2023 SPR22/2884 Michelle A. Jenkins Town Clerk Town of Oxford 325 Main Street Oxford, MA 01540 Dear Ms. Jenkins: I have received the petition of Casey Fleming appealing the response of the Town of Oxford (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On October 12, 2022, Mr. Fleming requested “the current list of registered voters in Oxford.” Previous Appeal This request was the subject of a previous appeal. See SPR22/2681 Determination of the Supervisor of Records (December 5, 2022). In my December 5th determination, I ordered the Town to provide Mr. Fleming with a response to his request. On December 16, 2022, the Town responded. Unsatisfied with the Town’s response, Mr. Fleming petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR22/2884, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Town intends to provide a further response to Mr. Fleming. Accordingly, the Town is ordered to provide Mr. Fleming with said response, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations within ten (10) business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Fleming may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
