G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On December 1, 2022, Mr. Shein requested the following records: [1] various documentation related to a 2017 vandalism case “to two aircrafts stored in an open hangar at Walter Koladza airport in Great Barrington … [2] … records between MSP and any other local, state or federal agency … [3] … all records related to … prior incident and investigation of [named person] … for attempting to sabotage/vandalize a helicopter at same airport … Claiming to not yet have received a response, Mr. Shein petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/0039, was opened as a result. Despite being notified of the opening of this appeal, it is unclear whether a response has been provided. Accordingly, the Department is ordered to provide Mr. Shein with a response to the request, provided in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations within 10 business days. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us.
