The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records January 26, 2023 SPR23/0061 Jeanmarie Tarara Town Clerk Town of Holbrook 50 North Franklin Street Holbrook, MA 02343 Dear Ms. Tarara: I have received the petition of Chris Lade appealing the response of the Town of Holbrook (Town) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On December 21, 2022, Mr. Lade requested “any and all documents that pertain to Exhibit B on page 33 of [an indentified lease]” and the “[l]ist of documents provided on page 33[.]” The Town provided a response to the request. Unsatisfied with the Town’s response, Mr. Lade petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/0061, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Town provided a further response to Mr. Lade on January 23, 2023. Where this appeal was opened as a result of the Town’s previous response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Lade may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s January 23rd response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Chris Lade One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
