Fleury Records Access Officer Town of South Hadley Fire Department 144 Newton Street South Hadley, MA 01075 Dear Ms. Fleury: I have received the petition of Mary Lou Guarnera appealing the nonresponse of the Town of South Hadley Fire Department (Department) to a request for public records. See G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 2, 2023, Ms. Guarnera requested “… the hourly pay of the previous assistant to the Treasurer and the current assistant.” Claiming to not yet have received responsive records, Ms. Guarnera petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/0133, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department provided Ms. Guarnera with a response dated January 10, 2023. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Guarnera may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1).
