G. L. c. 66, § 10(d)(iv). As required by law, it is my understanding that the Department furnished a copy of this petition to the requestor. G. L. c. 66, § 10(d)(iv). On January 17, 2023, Stacey Pietrowicz, Esq., of Sugarman and Sugarman, P.C., requested “the complete file maintained by [the Department] on [an identified company] of [an identified location], which property is owned by [an identified company].” In an email to a staff attorney in this office dated January 31, 2023, Attorney Blackman states: Attorney Pietrowicz has withdrawn her public records request dated January 17, 2023. Therefore, the fee petition that I submitted is moot. Attorney Pietrowicz made a new public records request today for the records that we provided to another attorney on October 25, 2023, and MassDEP will provide these records to attorney Pietrowicz free of charge.
