The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records February 28, 2023 SPR23/0298 Alisa Mazzola Department Assistant Natick Police Department Records Division 20 E Central Street Natick, MA 01760 Dear Ms. Mazzola: I have received the petition of Leslie S. Harkavy, Esq., of Nadeau Harkavy LLC, appealing the response of the Town of Natick Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On December 13, 2022, Attorney Harkavy requested numerous records regarding an accident on a named intersection that occurred on December 1, 2021. On December 14, 2022, the Department responded, and provided a further response on December 30, 2022. Unsatisfied with the Department’s responses Attorney Harkavy petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/0298, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the Department responded to Attorney Harkavy’s request with a further response sent on February 27, 2023. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the Department’s December 14th and December 30th responses, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Attorney Harkavy may appeal the substantive nature of the Department’s February 27th response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Leslie S.
