The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records February 27, 2023 SPR23/0347 Paul A. Zinni Superintendent of Schools King Philip Regional School District 18 King Street Norfolk, MA 02056 Dear Superintendent Zinni: On February 21, 2023, this office received your petition on behalf of the King Philip Regional School District (School) seeking an extension of time to produce records, and permission to charge for time spent segregating or redacting responsive records. G. L. c. 66, § 10(c); G. L. c. 66, § 10(d)(iv); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.06(4). As required by law, the School furnished a copy of this petition to the requestor. G. L. c. 66, § 10(c); G. L. c. 66, § 10(d)(iv)(2). On February 10, 2023, Matt Magnarelli requested three categories of records. Subsequent to opening this petition, on February 21, 2023, the School provided Mr. Magnarelli with responsive records. In an email to the School on February 22, 2023, and to this office on February 23, 2023, Mr. Magnarelli confirms that he has received all the information he seeks from the School. Where Mr. Magnarelli has received the records he is seeking from the School, and in light of Mr. Magnarelli’s February 23rd email to this office, I find it is unnecessary to opine on the School’s petition. Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Matt Magnarelli One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832 • Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
