The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records March 8, 2023 SPR23/0363 Kathryn J. Scott, Greenfield City Clerk, Records Access Officer City of Greenfield 14 Court Square Greenfield, MA 01301 Dear Ms. Scott: I have received the petition of Ellie Mandell appealing the response of the City of Greenfield (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66, § 10A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). On January 12, 2023, Ms. Mandell requested numerous records regarding tax profile data for all City of Greenfield parcels. On January 31, 2023, the City responded. Unsatisfied with the City’s response, Ms. Mandell petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/0363, was opened as a result. Subsequently, I learned that the City responded to Ms. Mandell’s request with a further response sent on March 7, 2023. Where the basis of this appeal was opened as a result of the City’s January 31, 2023 response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Mandell may appeal the substantive nature of the City’s response within ninety days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Manza Arthur Supervisor of Records cc: Ellie Mandell One Ashburton Place, Room 1719, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 • (617) 727-2832• Fax: (617) 727-5914 sec.state.ma.us/pre • pre@sec.state.ma.us
